Removing a Deer Skeleton from My Fishing Spot – Realistic Fall Fishing

Removing a Deer Skeleton from My Fishing Spot Realistic Fall Fishing - Realistic Fishing

In the first episode this week: I am removing yet another deer skeleton from my fishing spot.  Unfortunately, sometimes realistic fall fishing consists of dragging deer carcasses out of the water so you can fish. This truly is a disgusting endeavor, but totally worth the effort so I can get back to fishing at The Log. This is the second deer skeleton I have removed from this public park in the last few weeks. Some jerk is dumping deer here after they get what they want, leaving the rest to rot in the water. They stink and really are just plain gross.

Who is Dumping Dead Deer at the Park?

Deer Poachers - Am I the ONLY One Who Cares - Realistic Fishing

Am I the ONLY One Who Cares?

Deer Poachers - Am I the ONLY One Who Cares Realistic Fishing

I am starting to feel like I am the only one who cares that my park is being littered with deer carcasses. A few weeks ago I found a deer that was dressed and dumped in the water at my favorite winter fishing spot, IN THE WATER on the shoreline. I made a call and reported it to the local game warden, but nothing happened. Almost a week later, I ended up dragging it out of the water so I could continue to fish there. Now, a couple weeks later at the very same spot, I notice another deer in the water! Once can be a fluke, but twice is a pattern. I am getting tired of finding dead animals dumped at the park.

Gulp Minnows vs Live Worms Which Bait Will Catch More Fish - Realistic Fishing

In the first episode this week: I’m out there fishing Gulp Minnows vs Live Worms. Which bait will catch more fish today? I start things off with the Gulp Minnows and things do not go so well. After about 10 casts, I still can’t catch any fish. After switching things over to the live bait, I start catching fish. I end up catching a good variety of bluegill in many sizes and I caught one pretty large fish. I even feed one to a blue heron that looked hungry. After fishing for a while and finally making some progress, someone else comes to join the party. He starts fishing near me and casting in my direction so feeling uncomfortable, I leave.

In this episode: We find a Realistic Fishing Pet Peeve, literally! After this happened I really didn’t want to fish anymore because this blooper is sort of annoying. I’m out there fishing, minding my own business and catching some bluegill for a video. I catch a few fish on a Realistic Rig and then I catch a few more fish on a float rig. Eventually I make my way to the boat ramp to catch a few more. Just after I catch my second fish at the ramp, something annoying happens and I just give up.

Float Fishing for Crappie and Bluegill from the Bank - Realistic Fishing

In this episode, I’m out there float fishing for crappie and bluegill from the bank. Even with no live bait I’m able to catch black crappie and bluegill. I’m using an artificial minnow fished around 5 feet below a weighted float and the water I’m fishing in is maybe 10ft deep. There is a pretty large log sitting on the bottom and sticking out of the water and I hope the fish will be hanging out there. The first fish I end up catching is a black nosed crappie which is a variation of the black crappie.
