Beginner Fishing Tips for Panfish – Fishing with Ice Fishing Jigs!
The first episode this week has beginner fishing tips for panfish. We’re out here fishing with ice fishing jigs in open water! Even though the water isn’t frozen, you can still use these small fishing jigs. I’m using a spinning rig with six pound test mono and a float. This jig is then tipped with a small piece of live worm. You can this cast this out and fish under a float, just like if you were to walk out there on the ice. I ended up catching a good variety of large and small panfish. REALISTIC TIP: If you have ice fishing jigs sitting around, give them a try them in open water. They can absolutely catch a bunch of panfish.

Fall Creek Fishing for BASS and PANFISH with a PowerBait Minnow (EASY)
In the final episode this week, we’re doing some fall creek fishing for bass and panfish using a Powerbait Minnow. This artificial minnow lure is easy to use and can catch many different fish. Today I catch some bass, bluegill, sunfish, and I even catch a shiner. Creek fish are always happy to see a little minnow dart by and a lot of them will go for it. I fish the Powerbait Minnow two different ways, 1) on a jig head and 2) on a plain hook. Both of them are easy fishing rigs to use for a 2 inch minnow. So if you have a chance to try some fall creek fishing, consider trying a Powerbait minnow, you just might end up catching a couple of bass.
