There is absolutely nothing wrong with fishing for bluegill and other panfish – and don’t let people shame you for fishing for panfish like sunfish and bluegill. They might not be as trendy as crappie and so what if they might not be as big as bass. Don’t let anyone tell you that you suck if you fish for bluegill. I’ve found some people look down on panfishing because for them its all about those trophy game fish. I say ignore those people because you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.
