Largemouth Bass Rescue! Did I Do the Right Thing?
Today, I found myself in an unusual situation—a largemouth bass was tied up on a string when I arrived at my fishing spot. It was secured to a ratchet strap, and with no one else around, I decided to release it back into the water. I kept wondering if I made the right call, but leaving it tied up just didn’t sit right with me. After freeing the bass, I continued fishing, switching to a jerkbait and some Gulp minnows. I didn’t land any more bass, but I did reel in a few bluegill. What would you do if you found a fish tied up with no one nearby? Let me know your thoughts on this tricky call.

One of THE BEST Fishing Lures For FALL Bank Fishing (Bass Fishing)
Fall fishing is here, and I’m out on the bank with one of my all-time favorite lures for this season—a sinking jerkbait. The bass action was promising, and I quickly caught a great white bass while fishing along a point. The bite was fast and fierce but slowed down just as quickly as it began. I then moved to a dock, where the jerkbait helped me hook two largemouth bass. If you’re heading out for fall bass fishing, a sinking jerkbait is a solid choice to have on hand. Give it a try next time you’re out and let me know how it works for you!
