Fishing With Three Different Minnow Rigs – Realistic Rig and Hi Low
This week, I’m testing out three different minnow rigs using a light spinning setup, all on 6 lb test to handle a good bass if one bites. I kick off with a Gulp minnow on the Realistic Rig, then upgrade to a larger plastic minnow for a different look. Finally, I give the hi-low rig a shot, running two artificial minnows of different sizes. Despite adjusting my setup to try to attract bites, it’s mostly bluegill hitting the line today. Even so, experimenting with rigs and tweaks keeps the fishing interesting and gives me an edge for future trips, especially when the bite’s tough.

Four Fishing Rigs I am Using in FALL – Bank Fishing Rigs (Spinning)
In this video, I’m sharing four reliable bank fishing rigs I’m using this fall, all set up on spinning gear for easy handling. I start out with the classic float rig, followed by a split shot rig for subtle presentations. After that, I switch to the Realistic Rig and round out with a 2-inch jerkbait. These rigs give me a solid setup for targeting both bluegill and bass from the bank. I even managed to land a nice spotted bass today! As the fall chill kicks in, these four rigs are becoming my go-to setup for quick trips with light tackle, making them ideal for casual fishing from shore.
