Today we are casting the baitcaster as we get ready for the coming bass fishing season. I start out fishing with a Texas Rig on a baitcaster. I am testing it out and hoping to get lucky with an early spring largemouth bass. As expected, I didn’t catch any bass. So I switch thing up and try a few different lures and different locations. I finally find and catch fish at Skeletor Park. I get one yellow bass and a bunch of bluegill. Bass season is almost here, and I am ready for it. Now might be the time to start practicing with that baitcaster!
