In this episode of Realistic Fishing: I’m doing some beginner saltwater fishing with shrimp at Dauphin Island in Alabama. I purchased these shrimp at Ship & Shore here on the island. I’m using a very simple rig that is similar to a Carolina Rig for bass or catfish. I start things out catching a few croaker which are a typical catch here. I also catch a Redfish which was a nice surprise. I even catch a blue crab on rod and reel! You really never know what you might catch in saltwater when fishing with shrimp. Saltwater fishing like this is so easy even a beginner can do it.
