I Caught TEN BASS On THIS One Cheap Lure!! (Temu Fishing Lure)
Ten bass on one fifty-cent fishing lure sounds pretty ridiculous, especially when that lure came from Temu. But that’s where I’m at with this little urchin bait.
I bought an eight-pack for just under four dollars, which puts each lure at around fifty cents. Even better, I’ve been fishing the exact same lure and hook without having to replace either one.
For this trip I headed to Old Hickory Lake before 6:00 in the morning. Getting out that early has been one way I’ve tried to beat the summer heat and hopefully find some fish before the day really warms up.
I added two more largemouth bass to the count, bringing this one Temu lure up to ten bass.
That’s the part that impresses me most. Cheap fishing lures don’t necessarily have to last forever, but getting ten largemouth bass from a soft plastic that cost about fifty cents is pretty good value. The bait is still catching fish, so I’m going to keep fishing it until either the bass stop biting it or I finally lose it.

How Many Bass Can I Catch On THIS CHEAP LURE From TEMU??
This was my third fishing trip with the exact same cheap Temu urchin bait. At this point I wasn’t just trying to figure out whether it could catch bass. I wanted to see how many bass I could catch before I finally had to replace the lure.
I started the morning at Skeletor Park, but there weren’t any fish cooperating there. After giving that spot a chance, I drove over to the smaller lake where I’ve been having better luck.
That move paid off almost immediately.
Within my first four casts I hooked a nice largemouth bass weighing almost two pounds. A little later I caught another bass underneath the trees.
Those two fish brought the running total to eight largemouth bass on the same Temu lure without replacing it once.
For something this inexpensive, durability is becoming part of the story. A cheap lure isn’t much of a bargain if it falls apart after every fish. This little urchin bait has already survived multiple fishing trips and several bass, and it keeps working.

I Can’t Believe THIS LURE Works So Well! Bass Fishing With TEMU Lures
After catching two big largemouth bass on this Temu urchin bait the first time I tried it, I wanted to fish it again and find out whether that trip was just good luck.
This time I went out in the evening and walked the bank with the same style of lure.
The bass still liked it.
I caught four largemouth bass during the trip. They weren’t as big as the fish I caught the first time, but catching four more showed me that this bait wasn’t only capable of getting one or two bigger bites.
At first I wasn’t sure what to think about these strange urchin-style lures. They don’t look much like the soft plastics I’ve spent years fishing. But after catching bass on them repeatedly, I’m starting to become a believer.
Sometimes a cheap lure that looks weird to me looks perfectly fine to a largemouth bass.

Awesome Deals on Crankbaits at WALMART! (Walmart Fishing Lures)
Fishing lures aren’t getting any cheaper, so I still get excited when I find a decent tackle deal at Walmart.
It was too hot outside for me to feel like fishing, so I headed indoors and ended up finding six crankbaits for a total of just thirteen dollars. I also picked up a little something at Bass Pro Shops.
I don’t need every fishing lure I see just because it’s on sale, but crankbaits at this price are hard for me to ignore. Losing an expensive lure hurts a little more when I’m fishing from the bank around rocks, wood and other places where a crankbait can disappear.
I also picked another random comment from a previous video for you know what.
If the summer heat is bad enough to keep me off the water, digging through discounted fishing tackle isn’t a terrible backup plan. At least I can get ready for the next trip without standing outside cooking in the sun.

THIS Cheap Fishing Lure From TEMU Catches Giants! (Testing A NEW LURE)
After having some success with a similar dice bait, I decided to try a larger urchin-style lure from Temu. This one is made from durable soft plastic and measures almost three inches across.
I’ll admit I had my doubts.
These urchin baits look strange, and being cheap doesn’t automatically make a lure worth fishing. The only test that really matters to me is whether I can take it to the water and catch something with it.
The first largemouth bass I caught weighed around two pounds.
Then I caught another one over three pounds and possibly closer to four.
That got my attention.
For my first trip with this particular Temu urchin bait, two good largemouth bass was enough to make me want to keep experimenting with it. I’m not going to call something the best lure on Temu based on one fishing trip, but this cheap bait proved that it can catch quality bass from the bank.

Swimbait vs. NED Rig (Fishing For Bass From The Bank)
I brought two different bass presentations to the bank for this trip and decided to see which one produced more fish: a swimbait or a Ned rig.
I started with a Strike King Rage Swimmer on a jig head using a spinning combo. Fishing near a dock, I managed to catch one largemouth bass on the swimbait.
Then I switched to the Ned rig.
Instead of using a dedicated Ned rig plastic, I cut a Yamamoto Senko in half and put it on the same jig head. That simple setup caught three more largemouth bass. It also caught a massive shellcracker that measured almost ten inches.
So the final bass count was one on the swimbait and three on the Ned rig.
That doesn’t prove a Ned rig will always beat a swimbait. Different conditions can completely change what the fish want. But when I put these two presentations against each other from the bank on this particular trip, the little half-Senko Ned rig was the clear winner.
