Is a bad day of fishing better than a good day at work? When the fishing ends up like this, I have to ask myself this question. This popular fishing cliché, always goes through my mind when the fishing sucks. Today the bass were NOT biting. And after I switched to the ultralight rig, I thought things were looking up. Until I lost a big crappie on a snag near the bank! After that, the only thing I could get to bite were a few bluegill. The Fishing is IMPOSSIBLE! (But This ONE LURE Still Caught Fish)
Even when the fishing seems impossible, this one lure still catches fish. I have been fishing for two days in a row and only one lure caught fish, the wacky rigged Senko. A soft plastic worm hooked through the middle is wat it took to get a bite. In two days I caught two fish, and they were both on the wacky rig. Its been so hot outside that the fishing is impossible right now. When that happens I switch to a slow moving confidence bait. That is the wacky rigged worm. Should I try fishing with these antique lures? Some of these are over 50 years old! Today I am unboxing a package full of lures that was sent to the show by Mike in Florida. Inside the box is a nice variety of vintage fishing lures from Heddon in all shapes and sizes. He even included a couple of old fishing reels. I love looking through antique fishing gear. It’s fun to see what people fished with a long time ago, and sometimes they are valuable and worth money. Do you think I should try fishing with any of these? I wonder if these antique fishing lures could still catch a bass. #antique #fishing

Bass Fishing With Topwater IN THE RAIN (Do Bass Bite In The Rain?)
Have you tried bass fishing with topwater, in the rain? Do bass even bite in the rain? Today I am out bass fishing with a topwater popper. I am fishing from the bank on a rainy day hoping to get a bite. The fishing is a little better than I expected, but still challenging due to the heat. I miss one bass near the dock. I nearly catch another bass in front of a tree near the bank. Then after making my way back to the car, I finally catch a nice largemouth bass on topwater. I catch it casting parallel to the bank. I think the same fish may have gone for the popper twice. If you end up bass fishing in the rain here is a tip: maybe try topwater. #topwater #bassfishing

First Time Fishing With a Baby Brush CRAW! Public Park Bass Fishing
This is my first time fishing with a Baby Brush Craw! I’m bass fishing at a public park and I have the baby brush craw on a Texas Rig. Just a few casts in and I am on my first bass! It’s a good looking one pound largemouth bass. Despite pressure at the park because of boats and other fishermen I am still able to catch a fish. After working the bank for a while without any more action, i go back the other direction. I end up catching another bass neat the dock and boat ramp. I consider this a successful test of the baby brush craw. Since I already love the zoom baby brush hog, this lure is right up my alley, G. #bassfishing #realistic

This a a different version of one of my favorite the Baby Brush Hog. This lure is very similar to the brush hog except it has claws instead of antenna. These were sent to the show by an awesome subscriber Fishing with AllyG. I am excited to give them a try as I am sure they will catch bass on a Texas Rig.
