Summer Fishing Tips: Realistic Bass Fishing with a NED Rig & Subscriber Mail

Realistic Fishing When It’s TOO HOT to Fish!

What does Realistic Fishing do when it’s too hot to fish? I check out some fishing lure pickups and open up the mail to see what’s been sent to the show. First up, I got some Gulp Minnows from Walmart for just two bucks! Next, I open a package with Micro Jig heads from i_fish. They also sent over some custom floats, both of which will be part of the 100,000 subscriber special giveaway. Finally, there’s a package with a handmade topwater popper! I love it when people send custom artwork to the show. A big thanks to everyone who sends mail to Realistic Fishing!

I Love Bass Fishing With a NED RIG! (Part 1)

It turns out I really love bass fishing with a Ned Rig. When the weather heats up, fishing gets tough, especially for bass. That’s when I switch to a Ned Rig setup. I’m using a Creme Scoundrel four-inch worm and a bit of Pro Cure. After prepping my gear, I head out to fish. I try open water and around the dock, but it’s not until I hit the shady spots that I start catching bass. The first one bites under some overhanging trees, and I snag the second one after venturing out onto a log. Don’t forget to watch part two for more Ned Rig tips and to see why I’m such a fan of this setup!

Summer Bank Fishing For Bass With a NED RIG

This summer, I’m bank fishing for bass with a Ned Rig. In my last video, I caught two largemouth bass! Today, I’m back at it, working the bank with the Creme Scoundrel. I head over to the dock and, even though I’ve already fished this spot, I catch my third bass, which weighs about 1.5 pounds. Moving down the bank again, I hook into another bass, and then another! By the end of the day, I’ve caught four bass, all with the Ned Rig. Check out the tips I share in this video—you might find the Ned Rig to be a great lure for summer fishing.
