Today I am bank fishing at a new fishing spot! This secret fishing spot in actually located in a public park. So its not actually a secret. I was invited to this spot to fish for spring bluegill and shellcracker. I caught not only both of those but also some big golden shiners and even a crappie. We didn’t catch any bass today, but the fishing is starting to improve. And, fishing this new location gives me hope for the upcoming fishing season. I was using a simple float rig to catch all of todays fish. This spring, hopefully you will find a new spot like this to catch fish.
