Summer Bank Fishing at Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee (HOT)
I had to try the summer bank fishing at Old Hickory Lake again. Even though its hot, and the water is dead, I gave it another try. There are no weeds, and the fish are hard to find from the bank. I am fishing with an ultralight and a finesse Texas Rig. I actually get one bite from the point at the lucky unlucky spot. But since I am fishing with the opposite hand, I don’t think I had a confident hookset. I ended up losing the bass. Summer bass fishing from the bank at Old Hickory lake is poor at best. And when you lose a fish, its even worse. #fishing #tennessee

What is wrong with my lake? Why are the fish acting insane? Today when I went fishing I saw a huge fish swimming toward me! Half of this fish was sticking out of the water, like it was having a hard time diving under water. This fish practically swam right up to me. Due to this strange fish behavior, I can tell something is wrong. Then after moving to another spot on the same lake, I noticed something else. There are NO WEEDS! Every place I have fished on this lake so far had zero weeds. No weeds, no fish. So what is really wrong with my lake? #lake #fishing

Every fisherman has one of these huge piles of tangled fishing lures! Today I go through a beard full of snarled fishing lures that I found in my fishing studio, the car, and anywhere else I have looked. This is a huge pile of old forgotten lures that need to be rescued. I start to cut awat the tangled line, and start fishing some good lures on the tangled mess. I find a whopper plopper, a Rebel Pop R, and many other bass fishing lures. Don’t just throw away a pile of lures like this, cut them apart and use them again one day. #fishing #beard

Has THIS Ever Happened to YOU? Bass Tries to EAT My Bluegill!
Has this ever happened to you? A bass tried to eat my bluegill as I was reeling it in! I am out fishing on a hot summer morning and the bluegill seem to be biting. Just as I am about to land one, a big largemouth bass grabs my bluegill and tries to swim off! If I had been using a large hook, I might have caught the big bass. This just shows that bass will eat a large bluegill in this lake. Maybe I will try to catch a bass on a live bluegill in the future, because of this incident. Aside from the bass attack, I did catch a bunch of big bluegill and that was fun. #bassfishing #realistic
