In this episode of Realistic Fishing: We’re finally doing more winter trout fishing from the bank! Winter fishing in Tennessee can be pretty difficult when it gets really cold. The lake was starting to freeze and it just wasn’t fishable. I chose to head to some moving water below a dam instead. I’m using worms and eggs as I fish the faster moving water. I ended up catching a total of four stocked Rainbow Trout today. It was a lot of fun! I’m happy to be out of the house again after being frozen in for a week. I really hope the weather continues to warm up and the fishing improves. Like I said, winter fishing in Tennessee really can be tough.
