The Realistic Fishing Video SOME of You Have Been Waiting For!
This is one of those videos where I finally get to give something back to the people who have been watching for years. Instead of just talking about fishing, I’m picking a few subscribers at random and sending out some solid fishing gear.
There’s a good mix in these bundles too. Some of it is geared toward bass fishing, with soft plastics and jigs from brands most people already recognize. There’s also an ultralight setup in the mix for anyone who likes going after panfish with lighter gear.
It’s not overcomplicated—just a straightforward giveaway as a way to say thanks. If you’ve been following along, leaving comments, or just watching the videos, this is for you.
What’s being given away:
Bass fishing lure bundles (soft plastics, jigs, and basic tackle)
Ultralight jig head setup for panfish
Multiple winners picked at random

Am I CRAZY For Fishing Like This? Tennessee ICE FISHING!
Ice fishing in Tennessee is not something you plan for—but after a hard winter storm, it actually became possible in a pretty unusual way. The lake wasn’t fully frozen, but there was enough ice to completely change how you had to fish it.
Someone had already broken up part of the ice near the ramp, which opened up just enough water to cast into. From there, it turned into a strange setup—casting past the ice, hooking fish in open water, then dragging them back across frozen sections to land them.
It’s not pretty, and it’s definitely not normal, but it worked. I was still able to catch fish in conditions where most people wouldn’t even bother trying.
This trip really comes down to adapting:
- Fish weren’t in typical spots
- Access was limited by ice
- Presentation had to work in tight, broken water
It’s one of those situations where you either figure something out or you go home empty-handed.

WINTER STORM in Tennessee Means I CAN’T Go Fishing
Every once in a while, the weather wins. This was one of those times where everything was completely iced over—roads, trees, shoreline—there was no real way to get out and fish safely.
Instead of forcing it, I stayed in and turned it into something useful. If I can’t fish, I can at least put together another giveaway and keep things moving. This one includes a mix of lures from brands like Missile Baits, Googan, and Mister Twister.
It’s not the same as being on the water, but it’s still part of fishing. There’s always something you can do—organize gear, restock tackle, or in this case, pass some of it along.
If you’re stuck inside during a storm, this is the kind of thing that keeps you connected to it until conditions improve.

This One is for UNCLE STEVE – Realistic Fishing From The bank
This is about as simple as winter fishing gets. Cold day, bank fishing, and a basic setup with red worms under a float. No complicated rigs, no expensive gear—just something that works when the bite is slow.
It takes a little time to find the fish. I move around, check a few areas, and eventually locate a group of bluegill and sunfish near a boat ramp. Once you find them, it turns into steady action, even in colder conditions.
This is the kind of fishing that doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s reliable.
Simple setup used:
- Float rig
- Small hook + red worms
- Targeting panfish near structure
It’s a good reminder that when fishing gets tough, going back to basics is usually the right move.

Remember Fishing On YouTube Before the Googan Squad? (Part1)
Fishing on YouTube didn’t always look like it does now. Before big brands and million-subscriber channels, things were a lot more simple—and a lot less commercial.
This goes back to when subscription boxes started taking over. That shift pushed a lot of creators into making similar content, all trying to grow at the same time. From there, it built into what we now recognize as the modern fishing YouTube scene.
This video is more of a look back at how that transition happened and how fast things changed once it started.
Main points covered:
- Early fishing YouTube before major brands
- Rise of subscription box content
- How that led into larger fishing channels and groups
If you’ve been around long enough, you’ve seen it happen. If not, this gives you a clear picture of how things got to where they are now.

The BEST Jig Head in Ultralight Fishing? BG-1 Micro Jig Head Review!
When it comes to ultralight fishing, small details matter—and jig heads are a big part of that. In this one, I’m taking a close look at the BG-1 micro jig head and how it performs in real fishing situations.
This setup is built for panfish like bluegill and crappie, but it’s more versatile than it looks. I’ve used it for everything from shellcracker to larger fish like drum and even bass when fishing light tackle.
The design is simple, but that’s part of the appeal. It pairs well with small soft plastics and gives you a natural presentation that works in a lot of situations.
Where it performs best:
- Ultralight setups
- Panfish (bluegill, crappie, shellcracker)
- Finesse presentations in cold water
There’s also a giveaway included, so if you want to try it out yourself, this is a good chance to see if it lives up to the hype.
