Once again we are doing some winter fishing from the bank. Except this time, the big panfish are coming back. I say that because I caught a 9 inch shellcracker! I start out fishing at the log and get a couple of sunfish and a bluegill. Then I concentrate on fishing the boat ramp area and the bite really picks up. I catch a few nice red ear sunfish and a couple of bluegill. And like I said, I catch a big 9 inch shellcracker! Winter fishing from the bank can be rewarding of you you to fish on the cold. You just might be there when the big panfish come back.
