Time for more winter bank fishing in February. Can I, Realistic Fishing, catch any fish today? Its a mild winter day, but the temps at night are still below freezing. This means the water isn’t really warming up yet. I start out fishing on the bottom with a worm, but I don’t catch anything. After switching to a float rig, I catch the first fish of the day. Then another, and another. I finally figure out a pattern, fishing with a float about 4-5 ft deep. The largest fish today was a 6 inch bluegill. I am just happy to be catching anything from the bank in February.
