In this episode of Realistic Fishing I try fishing a new creek for winter stocked trout. I decided to try out a new fishing spot I found on a map since I was in the area. After trying a few techniques I know work in a different spot, I end up leaving empty handed and head for one of my favorite locations. Once I arrive and get settled, I manage to catch a couple of nice trout. I caught them both on power eggs. One was caught with plain bait hook, the other with a jig head.
While it might be fun to fish a new location, always remember it might not be as good as a your favorite spot. Check it out in the video below.
