If I Was Starving I Would Have Bluegill To Eat (Realistic Fishing)
If I were starving, bluegill would be my go-to meal! Today, I hit two different fishing spots to see what I could catch from the bank. Armed with a simple float rig and a jig with a minnow, I reeled in about a dozen bluegill of various sizes. The log produced larger bluegill, but both locations kept me busy. Even in the fall, bluegill fishing is accessible and rewarding with a basic float setup. These fish are not just fun to catch—they’re great for the table too. Just remember to harvest responsibly and enjoy the outdoors this season.

Finally!! It Feels Good to Go Fishing Again (Realistic Fishing)
There’s nothing like getting back out there and fishing again! Today, I’m at the log, hoping to catch crappie, bluegill, bass, skipjack, or anything else willing to bite. Using a Gulp Alive Minnow under a weighted cigar float with a BG-1 jig head, I land a big skipjack on the first cast! From there, it’s bluegill after bluegill, with the largest coming in at around 7 inches. While the fishing isn’t on fire, it feels great to get back to the water and reel in some fish. Fall fishing is all about persistence and enjoying the process.
