Lets get back to some bluegill fishing basics. Today I’m bank fishing for jumbo bluegill, which I like to call Bullgill. The trip starts off a bit slow catching some smaller four to five inch bluegill. But after going back to fish an area I previously fished, I started catching some big bluegill. These jumbo bluegill measure between nine and ten inches! I am catching them on a simple float rig with a Gulp Alive Minnow. This is probably my all time favorite panfish lure. So sit back, relax, and lets catch some jumbo bluegill from the bank today.
