Today I am bass fishing with a baitcaster that was sent to the show! I am test driving a SixGill Wraith using a Texas rigged creature bait. I spool the reel with 12 lb test mono, and start fishing. I get a bite early on, but miss the fish because I didn’t check my drag. After dialing the reel in a bit better, I get back to it. Shortly after, I catch my first largemouth bass of the day. About ten minutes later, I catch another bass. This baitcast reel has a few issues, but I don’t know its past. I don’t think its the right for me, but it did catch fish.
