Ultralight Fishing on the Dam – Will I Catch More Fish Here?
Today I am ultralight fishing on the dam, will I catch more fish here? I typically go the other way and fish the boat ramp and dock, but today I am fishing on top of the dam and heading to the other side of the lake. I start out fishing at the edge of the dam and catch a nice bluegill. But as I make my way across the dam, I don’t actually catch anything, not even one fish. But as soon as I make my way to the other side of the dam, I start catching fish again. Sometimes the fish are NOT next to the dam. Fishing Tip: Sometimes there will be more fish to catch on ultralight, along side the dam. #fishing #realistic

Ultralight Fishing From Shore with a Surprise Catch!
This morning I am out for more ultralight fishing from shore, and this time I end up with a surprise catch! I left the house early to beat the heat and get some morning fishing in. I had to put new line on my ultralight reel and I went with six pound test strength. After that I set up my desperation rig and got started. With a simple float rig consisting of a float, a jig head, and a gulp minnow I am able to catch a bunch of nice bluegill. And the surprise fish is a big nine in shellcracker! The ultralight is holding up and still catching a lot of fish. #fishing #ultralightfishing

Ultralight Fishing with the Shakespeare Micro Series!
Today I’m doing some ultralight fishing with the Shakespeare Micro Series! This ultralight spinning combo consists of a Shakespeare Micro Series spinning rod, and a Shimano FX spinning reel. That makes this a $40 ultralight fishing combo. Using a small 1 inch swimbait I am able to catch a bass, and a bunch of nice big bluegill. Even though it’s hot outside, I am still catching fish. Eventually the hot weather gets to me, and I leave anyway. But I consider this trip a success, and the Shakespeare ultralight combo continues to catch fish for just forty dollars! #fishing #ultralight
