I just rescued a largemouth bass! But did I do the right thing? When I arrived at my fishing spot this morning, I discovered a bass tied up on a string. The string was tied to a ratchet strap on one end and the fish's mouth on the other. I suspect it was there for a while, and there was no one around. So I let it go. I hope I did the right thing. After that I got to fishing with a jerkbait, and gulp minnows. I couldn't catch anymore bass but I did catch some bluegill.
